MANUFACTURING
Everything done under one roof, start to finish.
STEP 01
Raw Materials
Extruded 6061 aluminum barstock is the starting point for every BC Forged wheel, cut and staged for the forging process.
STEP 02
Forging Press
Heated barstock is placed under 10,000 tons of pressure, compressing the aluminum grain structure for maximum strength.
STEP 03
Forgings
Once pressed, raw forgings are staged in bins, ready to move on to machining.
STEP 04
Flow Forging
Monoblock wheel skirts and modular barrels are flow formed, stretching and shaping the aluminum while retaining its forged strength.
STEP 05
Heat Treating
Forgings undergo T6 quenching and ageing, locking in hardness and durability before machining begins.
STEP 06
CNC Lathing
Rough and final pass lathing shapes each forging with precise, staggered cnc mill work.
STEP 07
CNC Milling
Four and five axis milling stations cut every design detail into the wheel face with tight tolerances.
STEP 08
Quality Control
Every monoblock wheel skirt and modular barrel is inspected against strict tolerances before moving forward.
STEP 09
Finishing
Wheels are prepped and powdercoated, with every finish held to the highest standards of quality.

Forging Stock
